You'll join hundreds of people who are committed to creating jobs and boosting the local economic development of our City.
Who's behind the campaign?
The Build Byron/Buy Local campaign is made possible through the ongoing efforts of your Byron Area Chamber of Commerce. Local participating businesses will also offer rewards to all Build Byron/Buy Local Member Reward card holders.
And your goals are...?
There will be two ongoing themes which will guide this campaign. These are business-to-business purchases and individual-to-business purchases. The goal here is to shift just 5% of your purchases that are currently going outside of Byron back into the local community. We'll increase public awareness about the advantages of buying locally and how even a small impact of 5% can add jobs and strengthen our local economy.
How, exactly, would the Byron community be impacted?
Our friends and family are employed by small family-owned businesses as well as regional and national chains in Byron. All of these contribute to the local tax base which grows each time they add employees, open a satellite store or increase their business through your commitment to shift your spending locally. This all leads to new jobs, public services, parks and schools...and the list goes on!

Pledge today to shift 5% of your out-of-area purchases back into your Byron community. Whether you purchase $100 or $1,000,000 in goods or services annually, you will make a difference!
How do I know who's participating?
Simple. You can find our Participating Chamber Member Rewards Page by clicking here. Just search the categories for for the vendors you need then call them! The participating chamber business members will offer rewards for all Build Byron/Buy Local Member Reward card holders. If you would like to be added to this referral list, just send an email to the Chamber and become a member!
