Government Affairs Committee
This committee of 7-9 members meet as needed to discuss upcoming City Council events and provide input for pending issues that affect all businesses. The members keep the general membership up to date with issues and attend the City Council meetings.
Business After/Before Hours
This is a networking event held after normal working hours 5-7 PM at the sponsoring business. It is a relaxed atmosphere with casual conversation and refreshments. The business can even choose an early morning get together if that is better for their business. Always a lot of fun and there are even door prizes.

Good Neighbor Days
Just as the name implies, this is the annual Community event which brings everyone in town and even some nearby towns together to celebrate with their neighbors. There is something for everyone, fireworks, a parade, athletic events and a car show. All this takes place on the 3rd weekend of July which is also the weekend of the Byron Fire department street dance.
Annual Dinner
The Annual Dinner is held on the 3rd Thursday evening of January. This fun filled event announces the Byron Business of the Year and the Chamber Volunteer of the Year. The new Officers and Directors of the Chamber are announced and it is all wrapped up with a lively night of entertainment.
Monthly Meetings
Monthly meetings are held at noon at Somerby Golf Community Clubhouse on the third Thursday of each month. A fabulous lunch is served and the membership has the opportunity to network and share ideas about making Byron a better place for new businesses, current businesses and all of the residents. Each month is sponsored by 3 different businesses and they have the opportunity to highlight their business.
