Government Affairs

The Byron Area Chamber of Commerce is actively involved with our local government and seeks to provide a positive influence with area legislators.  By developing positions on issues of public policy and communicating these positions, the Chamber creates value for its members. Members who are involved with the Government Affairs Committee find this to be a valuable resource of information.

This committee of 3-4 members meet as needed to discuss upcoming City Council events and provide input for pending issues that affect all businesses. The members keep the general membership up to date with issues and attend the City Council meetings.  If you're interested in getting involved with the Government Affairs committee, please contact the Chamber President.
