Networking Opportunities
The Byron Area Chamber of Commerce offers a wide variety of networking opportunities for its members. Whether it's at our monthly meetings or at our business after hours events, we are confident that our selection of networking opportunities will get you connected to area leaders. For those businesses that have employees, don't forget that, because of your member business, each employee is a member of the Chamber as well! Please make sure everyone knows about these great marketing and networking events!
Byron Community Showcase
On October 25, 2012 your Chamber held its first Community Showcase, highlighted by 25 separate local businesses who, as Chamber members, volunteered their time and expertise to educate our community about who they were and what they had to offer. With an outstanding turnout of over 100 people from our community speaking with each and every business participant at the event, both the community and businesses were overjoyed with the information and positive results from this event.

Business After Hours
This is a networking event held after normal working hours 5-7 PM at the sponsoring business. It is a relaxed atmosphere with casual conversation and refreshments. The business can even choose an early morning get together if that is better for their business. Chamber members along with non-members are welcome to these events. Always a lot of fun and there are door prizes.
Monthly Meetings
Monthly meetings are held at noon at Somerby Golf Community Clubhouse on the third Thursday of each month. From 12:00pm to 1:30pm, you have a unique opportunity to network with other chamber members and learn about what they do. Lunch is provided at no additional cost to members.
Annual Celebration
This yearly networking event brings together all chamber members together for a grand recap of the past year. Hear what your Chamber has accomplished with your help and on your behalf over the last 12 months. Greet and socialize with your Chamber executive Board and wish them well in either their new positions or their retirement from the Board. Welcome the new incoming Board members and let them know how they can help you grow your business.
